Performance In Its Prime

The M2 wasn't made to take it easy. Fitted with the same lightweight aluminum suspension as the M4, along with race-bred compound brakes and BMW's legendary Active M Differential - it begs to be driven. Its TwinScroll turbo delivers an exceptional 343 lb-ft of torque with virtually no lag, while Overboost pushes performance to the next level by providing an additional 27 lb-ft.

With its standard manual transmission, the M2 involves the driver in every gear change. Meanwhile, carbon-fiber friction lining and a precise rev-matching system enhance shift precision, allowing for silky smooth transitions from one gear to the next. Additionally, the M2's fully aluminum closed-deck block design and grey-cast iron liners allow cylinders to endure higher pressure under the most demanding driving conditions.

Lightweight pistons and connecting rods, in combination with a forged crankshaft developed by BMW M, allow for a smoother high-revving engine. The M2's baffled oil pan design includes an additional pump and pick-up, providing a constant oil supply to high friction areas during heavy lateral loading, braking, or acceleration.

The M2 makes its presence known from every angle. Its aggressively chiseled front, wide rear stance, and overall bold design provide a true M look, perfectly framed to fit its 19" forged aluminum M double-spoke wheels.

As a true driver's car, the M2's unobtrusive interior is no oversight. Premium touches like blue contrast stitching and a carbon fiber trim creates a sense of occasion, all without losing focus on what matters most: the asphalt ahead.
