As it gets closer to Winter, taking care of your tires becomes more important than ever. The cold conditions can do nasty things to your wheels, and if you’re not careful, the consequences can be serious. So here are some helpful hints to make sure you are aware of the some small things you can do to help keep you safe.

Fill your tires with air
Keeping your tires properly inflated is a must. These days, most cars will notify you when your tire pressure gets too low, but it is still a good idea to visually check the pressure and see if any tire looks low. You can go to most any gas station to gauge your pressure and put more air. However, you also need to be careful that your tires are not overly inflated, which sould lead to even more serious problems on the road.

Rotate your tires
As you drive, each tire will wear down differently, which means time and again, it’s a good idea to rotate your tires from back to front and right to left to make sure the tires wear down evenly. You can do this very easily at our Service Center, check out our Specials page for great deals on a cheap tire rotation today.

Align your tires
Do you notice your car ever so slightly start to drift to one side of the road as you drive, maybe it’s more than ever so slightly? If so, it’s probably time to align your tires so you can keep you car on the straight and narrow and out of oncoming traffic.
